- And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
- He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him. - All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
- The hopes of the godly result in happiness,
but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. - Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
- So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
- Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged;
parents are the pride of their children. - Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline. - The lips of the godly speak helpful words,
but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words.
