Name of Jesus (4/4)

  • And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
  • The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
  • He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
  • Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
  • Teach me your ways, O Lord,
that I may live according to your truth!
    Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you.
  • But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
  • Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
  • Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
  • But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
  • Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
  • Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
  • On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!”
  • The Lord says,
“I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help.
I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’
to a nation that did not call on my name.”
  • Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
  • Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
  • But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
  • Choose a good reputation over great riches;
being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.
  • But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
  • But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
  • They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
  • For,
There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
  • Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?

Bible verse of the day

When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.
