And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. | In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. |

Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. |
Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls. | Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control. |

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. | Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. |
