| Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God. | Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: The fulfillment of my words will not be delayed any longer. | And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. | And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us. |
| A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. | I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another. |
| Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. | Remember this, my beloved brethren: everyone should be quick to listen but slow to speak and slow to anger. |
