Bible Verses about 'Now'

  • Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
  • Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
  • Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
  • Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  • God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, but now he commands people everywhere to repent.
  • But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
  • If you know me,
then you will know my Father also.
From now on you do know him.
    You have seen him.
  • Yet even now, says the Lord,
return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
  • And now, what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.
  • Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
    Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete.
  • Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen.
  • And now, dear children,
    abide in him,
    so that when he appears
    we may have confidence
and not be put to shame by him
    at his coming.
  • And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
  • However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
  • Now, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession from among all the peoples, for the entire earth is mine.
  • I came from the Father
and have come into the world.
Now I am leaving the world
    and returning to the Father.
  • Come now and let us discuss this,
    says the Lord.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
    they shall be like snow.
Though they are as red as crimson,
they shall become as white as wool.
  • Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.
  • Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.
  • Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar,
    praise and exalt and glorify
    the King of heaven.
For all of his works are right,
and all of his ways are just.
Also, he is able to humble
all those who follow the path of pride.
  • Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
  • Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
  • Does it now appear to you that I am trying to gain the approval of human beings rather than the approval of God? Am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
  • This water prefigured Baptism, which now saves you. It does so not by the washing away of dirt from the body but by the pledge of a good conscience given to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love,
and the greatest of these is love.

But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises.
