Bible Verses about 'Now'

  • Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.
  • Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
  • But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
  • For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
  • God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him.
  • If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!
  • That is why the Lord says,
“Turn to me now, while there is time.
    Give me your hearts.
Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.”
  • But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
  • For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  • Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
  • Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.
  • And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.
  • What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.
  • Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
  • Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.
  • Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
  • Yes, I came from the Father into the world, and now I will leave the world and return to the Father.
  • Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
  • Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.
  • You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.
  • “Come now, let’s settle this,”
    says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
I will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson,
I will make them as white as wool.”
  • So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
  • And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.
  • My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
