I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Yahweh is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised!
His greatness is unsearchable. - For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
He crowns the humble with salvation. - But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - Establish my footsteps in your word.
Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me. - I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. - The entrance of your words gives light.
It gives understanding to the simple. - What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - Yahweh will give strength to his people.
Yahweh will bless his people with peace. - My salvation and my honor is with God.
The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens,
and your truth to the skies. - This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.
Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
