The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy hand will… Proverbs 12:24

The hand of the diligent will rule,
But the lazy hand will be put to forced labor.
Proverbs 12:24 reward work slavery
Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad.
Proverbs 12:25 speaking worrying heart
One who guards his mouth protects his life;
One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
Proverbs 13:3 speaking wisdom life
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth,
But the poor hears no rebuke.
Proverbs 13:8 money materialism fear
Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife,
But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.
Proverbs 13:10 wisdom anger
Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles,
But one who gathers by labor increases it.
Proverbs 13:11 money greed work
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:12 hope life heart
One who walks with wise people will be wise,
But a companion of fools will suffer harm.
Proverbs 13:20 wisdom punishment
A trustworthy witness will not lie,
But a false witness declares lies.
Proverbs 14:5 lying truth reliability
There is a way which seems right to a person,
But its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 14:12 righteousness life sin
In all labor there is profit,
But mere talk leads only to poverty.
Proverbs 14:23 reliability speaking encouragement
One who is slow to anger has great understanding;
But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness.
Proverbs 14:29 wisdom patience understanding
Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to any people.

A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.
Proverbs 15:1 speaking gentleness anger
A soothing tongue is a tree of life,
But perversion in it crushes the spirit.
Proverbs 15:4 speaking Spirit lying
A fool rejects his father’s discipline,
But he who complies with rebuke is sensible.
Proverbs 15:5 Father wisdom children
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord
Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure.
Proverbs 15:16 money awe materialism
Without consultation, plans are frustrated,
But with many counselors they succeed.
Proverbs 15:22 speaking planning
A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word!
Proverbs 15:23 speaking joy
The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom,
And before honor comes humility.
Proverbs 15:33 humility awe wisdom
Commit your works to the Lord,
And your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3 trust planning blessing
Better is a little with righteousness
Than great income with injustice.
Proverbs 16:8 righteousness money contentment
The mind of a person plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:9 planning marriage dependence
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.

One who pays attention to the word will find good,
And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord.
