Chinese (traditional)- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and let your glory shine over all the earth. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
those who are guided by it will grow in understanding.
His praise will last forever. - Alleluia.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his precepts. - The future bodes well for him
who is generous in helping those in need
and who conducts his affairs with justice. - He will never be swayed;
the righteous man will be remembered forever. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name give glory
because of your kindness and faithfulness. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - I love the Lord because he has heard my voice
and listened to my cry for mercy,
because he has inclined his ear to me
on the day when I called out to him. - In my distress I called out to the Lord;
he answered by setting me free. - With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to place your trust in mortals. - This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us exult and rejoice in it. - O Lord, grant us salvation.
O Lord, grant us success.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord.
The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace. Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled;
be not afraid.Next verse!With image
