Psalm 23:4 (2/9)

Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
You are a place of refuge for me; you preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. SelahYou are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
For the word of the Lord is true, and he is faithful in everything he does. For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth.
The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is filled with his kindness. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.
O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise will be continually on my lips.I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Then keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.
Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous call out, and the Lord hears them; he rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord remains close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirit is crushed. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.

And if one should fall,
his companion will help him up.
