Psalm 71 (5/9)

I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others. He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless. With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
