Bible Verses about 'Psalm 119:105'
- Your word is a lamp to my feet,
and a light for my path. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart. - I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart,
when I learn your righteous judgments. - How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word. - With my whole heart I have sought you.
Don’t let me wander from your commandments. - I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - I have chosen the way of truth.
I have set your ordinances before me. - Turn my heart toward your statutes,
not toward selfish gain. - I will walk in liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - I will hurry, and not delay,
to obey your commandments. - I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - You are my hiding place and my shield.
I hope in your word. - The entrance of your words gives light.
It gives understanding to the simple. - Establish my footsteps in your word.
Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me. - All of your words are truth.
Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - Those who love your law have great peace.
Nothing causes them to stumble. - Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth. - He will not allow your foot to be moved.
He who keeps you will not slumber. - Yahweh will keep you from all evil.
He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in,
from this time forward, and forever more. - Our help is in Yahweh’s name,
who made heaven and earth. - Unless Yahweh builds the house,
they who build it labor in vain.
Unless Yahweh watches over the city,
the watchman guards it in vain. - Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh,
who walks in his ways. - Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions. - I wait for Yahweh.
My soul waits.
I hope in his word. - See how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to live together in unity! - Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me.
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever.
Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. - Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - For there is not a word on my tongue,
but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. - Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! - For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. - Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way. - Hear my prayer, Yahweh.
Listen to my petitions.
In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. - Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning,
for I trust in you.
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
for I lift up my soul to you. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - I will exalt you, my God, the King.
I will praise your name forever and ever. - Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised!
His greatness is unsearchable. - Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,
and gracious in all his works. - Yahweh is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.
Yahweh loves the righteous. - Yahweh preserves the foreigners.
He upholds the fatherless and widow,
but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. - He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
He crowns the humble with salvation. - Let everything that has breath praise Yah!
Praise Yah! - Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers. - But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
