Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Pursue'
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,
from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight,
the holy of the Lord, honourable;
and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways,
nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
