Bible Verses about 'Remember'

  • Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithfulness,
    For they have been from of old.
    Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings;
    Remember me according to Your faithfulness,
    For Your goodness’ sake, Lord.
  • For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
    And their sins I will no longer remember.
  • Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
  • It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
  • He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.
  • And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to celebrate the Sabbath day.
  • But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him,
    And His justice to the children’s children,
    To those who keep His covenant
    And remember His precepts, so as to do them.
  • Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.
  • Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your resident who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  • And on that day you will say,
    “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
    Make known His deeds among the peoples;
    Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
  • Some praise their chariots and some their horses,
    But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.
  • If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
  • You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
  • Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.
  • You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
  • Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
  • So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
  • No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
  • Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.
  • On the day of prosperity be happy,
    But on the day of adversity consider:
    God has made the one as well as the other
    So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him.
  • Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
  • Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
  • Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Bible verse of the day

A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
