- Make me know Your ways, Lord;
Teach me Your paths. - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears are toward their cry for help. - For You created my innermost parts;

And my soul knows it very well. - For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

But righteousness rescues from death. - There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?
- Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
- Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.

But righteousness rescues from death. - And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.” - Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
- Turn from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
- Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
- Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches, honor, and life. - Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
- And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
- Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time.
- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
