Right (3/4)

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
“All right then,” Joshua said, “destroy the idols among you, and turn your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest.Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
