- The hand of the diligent will rule,
But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
- For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower is servant to the lender. - Whoever has no rule over his own spirit
Is like a city broken down, without walls. - Both riches and honor come from You,
And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great
And to give strength to all. - But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting. - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
- He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. - For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - You, O Lord, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation. - Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool,
Much less lying lips to a prince. - Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
- I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me. - I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.
- So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
- We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”
The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.Next verse!With image
