Bible Verses about 'Rule'

  • The hands of the diligent ones shall rule,
but laziness ends in slave labor.
  • For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
  • The rich rule over the poor.
The borrower is servant to the lender.
  • And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
  • Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!
  • Like a city that is broken down and without walls
is a man whose spirit is without restraint.
  • But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
being small among the clans of Judah,
    out of you one will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.
  • For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
  • One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
  • For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
  • Establish my footsteps in your word.
Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.
  • Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool,
much less do lying lips fit a prince.
  • God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
  • God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
  • I have chosen the way of truth.
I have set your ordinances before me.
  • I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart,
when I learn your righteous judgments.
  • His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
  • All of your words are truth.
Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.
  • For Yahweh is our judge.
    Yahweh is our lawgiver.
    Yahweh is our king.
    He will save us.
  • That as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.
  • We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances.
  • He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day. Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years. She was bent over and could in no way straighten herself up. When Jesus saw her, he called her and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.” He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God.
The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water? Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
  • I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them. Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.

And keep the instruction of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.
