Bible Verses about 'Rules'

The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave. The wealthy man lords it over the poor, and the borrower becomes the slave of the lender.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And one who rules his spirit, than one who captures a city.It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior, one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.
I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set your judgments before me.
I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.I will praise you in sincerity of heart as I ponder your righteous judgments.
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting.Every word you utter is true, and all your righteous judgments are everlasting.
And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
We have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances. We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them. Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
So that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Do your duty to the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, so that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.
In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.If you obey the command that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways, and to observe his commandments, statutes, and decrees, then you will live and multiply, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
