even so you don’t know the work of God who does all. - In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. - God sets the lonely in families.
He brings out the prisoners with singing,
but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land. - But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all wrongs. - For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
- A man’s heart plans his course,
but Yahweh directs his steps. - Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin is a disgrace to any people. - What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Your right hand sustains me.
Your gentleness has made me great.
You have enlarged my steps under me,
My feet have not slipped. - Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
- But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

- He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out. - And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

- But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
