Bible Verses about 'Secure'

Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.
Their ways are futile and foolish. They cut down a tree, and a craftsman carves an idol. They decorate it with gold and silver and then fasten it securely with hammer and nails so it won’t fall over. Their gods are like helpless scarecrows in a cucumber field! They cannot speak, and they need to be carried because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of such gods, for they can neither harm you nor do you any good.For the customs of the peoples are futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers So that it will not topple. They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
