- And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
- And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand. - And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
- Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
- If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. - When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
- But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God. - And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
- You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary:
I am the Lord. - Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted. - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you. - But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves. - You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
