- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
- What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
- And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary:
I am the Lord. - For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
- As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
- And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. - Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God. - So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
- This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
- Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
