But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.On the day of prosperity be happy, But on the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles, That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’
What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you would inherit a blessing.

Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
