Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.
