Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
