| As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. | Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. |

| For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. | For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. |
| He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. | The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever utters slander is a fool. |
