- Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
- Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
