| My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? | My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? |
| He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. | Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. |
| Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. | Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. |

| Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. | Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. |
