| And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. | Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. | How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. | Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! |
| But when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. They were all terrified when they saw him. | Fight the good fight for the true faith. | Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. | Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. |
| The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. | The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. |
