| But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. | And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit. |

| For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. | For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. |
| The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. | The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. |

| But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. | For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. |
