- If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God? - May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. - I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. - He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. - Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
- With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
