- For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
- Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. - Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
- You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
- Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all. - You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. - Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.
- To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven. - Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
- Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
- You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
- There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. - Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
- For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. - And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
- How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
- “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” - For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
