And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they will be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.The words of a gossiper are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts of the body.
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.
And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.“And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.But he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; see, here is the place where they laid Him.”
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments; For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
