| But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. | But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. |
| The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. | The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. |
| Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. | Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. |
| Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. | O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. |
| That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you. | That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. |

| Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. | Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. | You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves. | Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. |
| Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. | Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. |
| Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
