He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk blamelessly.He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.
And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.

While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”
