So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.

Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
