- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. - Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
do not forget the oppressed. - He heals the brokenhearted,
and binds up their wounds. - Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up his hands, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.
- A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.

- Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up the bones. - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
- He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk blamelessly. - Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.
- Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal.
- And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And all ate and were filled. What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
- And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.

While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
