- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
forget not the afflicted. - He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds. - For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

all the trees of the field are dried up,
and gladness dries up

- He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
- Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
- And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
- He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. the Lord loves the righteous. - And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
