The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
- And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- And now, what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.
