  • To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
  • He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
    He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.
  • Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
  • Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
  • Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.

  • And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

  • And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:
    THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
  • But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
  • But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
  • And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
  • The Lord bless you and keep you;
    The Lord make His face shine upon you,
    And be gracious to you;
    The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
    And give you peace.
  • For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
  • Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.
  • And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
    God was manifested in the flesh,
    Justified in the Spirit,
    Seen by angels,
    Preached among the Gentiles,
    Believed on in the world,
    Received up in glory.
  • But those who wait on the Lord
    Shall renew their strength;
    They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
    They shall run and not be weary,
    They shall walk and not faint.
  • And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
  • Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
  • And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
  • And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
