And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure.For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs.Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
