And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. | Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. |
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. | You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. |
Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. | Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case. |
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. | How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. |
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.
