If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters and to be well-pleasing in all things, not contradicting, not stealing, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.
