| And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. | And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. |
| In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. | By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. |
