Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
