- Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
- When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
- Before the mountains were brought forth,

Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. - In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
- All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
- There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.
- For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. - God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
- Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
- For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
- And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
- Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were. - I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.
- And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
- So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
- For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
- Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
- Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
- As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
- Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
