- So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.
- About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- When I fed them, they were satisfied;
they were satisfied, and their heart was proud;
therefore they forgot me. - And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, the book of life. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and all were judged according to what they had done.

- In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
- While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
