But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
“And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned.It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.
But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart.My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart.
As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes?

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.

Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
