Whatsoever (2/4)

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. The lips of the righteous utter words of kindness, but the mouth of the wicked knows only how to pervert.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Therefore, heed my words. Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat or drink, or about your body and what you will wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me?
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Only this: to do what is right, to show mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. Therefore, keep watch, for you do not know the day when your Lord is coming.
What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar.A man’s attraction is his kindness; it is far better to be poor than to be a liar.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life?
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not!
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil.
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you already have so that no one may rob you of your crown.
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.He reveals deep and hidden mysteries and knows what lies in the darkness, for light dwells with him.
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me?

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
