Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Train a child in the way he should go, and he will not deviate from it, even in old age.

But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.For to you a thousand years are like a yesterday that has passed or one of the watches of the night.

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.Therefore, when someone is guilty of any one of these things, he shall confess the sin he has committed.
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; if he closes his lips, he is regarded as intelligent.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words.
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.Thereupon the Lord restored the prosperity of Job after he had prayed for his friends, and he enriched him with twice as much as he had possessed before.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and utter all kinds of calumnies against you for my sake.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.He cried out, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” And with these words he breathed his last.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more certain it is that, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.The Lord God said, “Behold, man has become like one of us, for he has knowledge of that which is good and that which is evil. Now, we must prevent him from reaching out and taking the fruit of the tree of life lest he eat it and live forever.” The Lord God cast him out of the Garden of Eden; henceforth he was to labor tilling the soil from which he had come.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.Repent, therefore, and be converted so that your sins may be wiped away.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.Rather, I discipline my body and bring it under control, for fear that after preaching to others I myself may be disqualified.

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.In much the same manner will wisdom be sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
